Data Processing Addendum

For personal data processed through the platform, the customer is the controller and Zenohire is the processor. Zenohire processes personal data only on documented instructions from the customer, including as set out in the main agreement and these terms.

• Subject matter: provision of the Zenohire hiring platform.
• Duration: the term of the agreement plus any retention period.
• Data subjects: candidates, applicants and customer users.
• Data types: identity, contact, professional history, assessment and interview data.

Zenohire ensures that personnel authorized to process personal data are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations and are trained on their data protection responsibilities.

Zenohire implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access controls and monitoring, as described on our Compliance page.

The customer authorizes Zenohire to engage sub-processors to provide the service. Zenohire imposes data protection obligations on each sub-processor and remains liable for their performance. We will provide notice of new sub-processors so the customer may object on reasonable data protection grounds.

Taking into account the nature of the processing, Zenohire assists the customer with appropriate technical and organizational measures to respond to requests from data subjects exercising their rights under applicable law.

Where personal data is transferred across borders, Zenohire relies on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law.

Zenohire will notify the customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting the customer's data, and will provide information reasonably required for the customer to meet its notification obligations.

On termination of the service, Zenohire will, at the customer's choice, delete or return personal data, and delete existing copies unless retention is required by law.

Zenohire makes available information necessary to demonstrate compliance with this DPA and will allow for and contribute to audits, subject to reasonable confidentiality and security conditions.
