Azure Platform Architect (Terraform)
Job description
We are looking for a seasoned Azure Platform Architect with a strong background in Terraform to drive the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud solutions on the Azure platform. In this role, you will lead architectural initiatives, collaborating closely with development teams to define and enforce best practices in cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing resource utilization and managing costs effectively. Additionally, you will automate deployment processes and ensure that infrastructure is managed as code, enhancing the overall performance of Azure-based applications.
Key responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud solutions on the Azure platform. Collaborate closely with development teams to define and enforce best practices in cloud infrastructure. Optimize resource utilization and manage costs effectively for cloud services. Automate deployment processes to enhance performance and reliability of Azure-based applications. Ensure that infrastructure is managed as code using Terraform. Drive architectural initiatives and provide guidance to technical teams. Monitor and assess the performance of cloud solutions to identify areas for improvement. Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud environments.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Azure Platform Architect • Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code • Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture • Experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions • Ability to lead architectural initiatives and collaborate with development teams • Expertise in optimizing resource utilization and managing costs • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for automated deployment • Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Effective communication and leadership abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and services Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools Solid understanding of cloud security best practices Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities
