Key responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of SREs in the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure. Define technical strategies and drive initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance. Manage relationships with stakeholders and communicate technical direction effectively. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members to promote professional growth. Develop and enforce best practices for cloud operations and infrastructure management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing processes. Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
7-10 years of experience in site reliability engineering or related fields. Proven experience leading technical teams and driving strategic technical initiatives. Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and architecture. Extensive experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform. Excellent understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience conducting performance reviews and providing team leadership.
Qualifications
Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration on large-scale projects. Business acumen to align technical initiatives with organizational goals. Advanced knowledge of cloud security best practices. Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools for Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Certifications in Azure or related cloud technologies are highly desirable.
