Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain server-side applications and services. Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements. Design and implement robust and secure APIs. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high quality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of server-side languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git. Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of testing frameworks and practices.
