Job Role : Business Analyst with AML Model Tuning & Testing (Actimize) Client : Infosys Payroll : RITS Job location : Pune (wfo) Role Overview : This resource will support the tuning, testing, and optimization of AML monitoring and screening models within Nice Actimize, with primary focus on SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring), CDD (Customer Due Diligence), and WLF/WLX (Watch List Filtering) modules. The individual will work closely with the BSA Tuning and Analytics team to execute periodic tuning cycles, support UAT, and ensure model outputs remain statistically sound and aligned with regulatory expectations. Primary Skills (Required): (4-5 yrs preferred) in BSA/AML technology or analytics roles, with direct Actimize exposure. 3-5 yrs of experience in AML space and banking domain Hands-on experience as an Actimize analyst — direct working knowledge of Nice Actimize SAM, CDD, and WLF/WLX modules Hands-on SQL skills for data querying, validation, and analysis Good to Have: Python knowledge for data analysis or scripting Exposure to automation tools/frameworks Familiarity with AI/ML concepts as applied to AML model tuning (e.g., statistical modeling, clustering, anomaly detection) Additional Preferred Experience (from base role profile): Experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer risk scoring Analytical/statistical background for customer segmentation and threshold calibration Experience with data validation, data lineage, and model risk validation concepts
Key responsibilities
Model Tuning & Testing Tune, test, and optimize AML models (SAM, WLF, CDD) as part of ongoing BAU activities Conduct periodic tuning to ensure detection parameters are set at optimal thresholds for statistically relevant alert generation Perform quarterly model tuning cycles and maintain associated documentation Identify gaps in existing models and support new model build initiatives Conduct thorough testing and validation of AML models, documenting results and recommending improvements UAT & Quality Support Support UAT testing for system upgrades, patches, and model changes Test to ensure satisfactory end-user experience across platform changes Documentation & Governance Maintain model inventory documentation Support MRM (Model Risk Management) validations and annual confirmations Support audits, regulatory exams, and compliance testing requests Process Improvement Identify automation opportunities across tuning and reporting workflows Provide subject matter expertise to support broader data analytics initiatives Team Support Oversee/support onshore-offshore analytics team collaboration Communicate key findings, issues, resolutions, and takeaways across teams
