Organization : Thermo fisher (C2H) Payroll : RSN GINFO Solutions Work mode : Remote Time zone : 5 PM-2 AM The Data Engineer with AWS Glue is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS Glue and other AWS services. This role involves collaborating with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is processed efficiently and meets the needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering principles, experience with cloud-based data solutions, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala. This position will also require knowledge of database management systems and data modeling techniques.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS Glue. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure efficient data processing. Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines for performance and reliability. Implement data modeling techniques to support data analysis and reporting. Utilize AWS services to enhance data processing capabilities. Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Document data engineering processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
