Key responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations Coordinate space planning, renovation projects, and facility improvements Monitor budget and control expenditures related to facility operations Provide support to staff and respond to facility-related inquiries and issues
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a similar role Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
Master's degree in Facility Management or Business Administration preferred Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) is a plus Experience with sustainability practices and energy-efficient systems Knowledge of project management methodologies Strong negotiation and budgeting skills Experience in emergency preparedness and crisis management
