IT Support Engineer
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our clients and internal staff, ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues while providing exceptional customer service to enhance user experience. As an IT Support Engineer, you will work closely with various departments to identify and implement solutions for technical challenges. You will also assist in the maintenance and upgrade of our IT infrastructure, contributing to the overall reliability and security of our systems. Your expertise will be crucial in training users on best practices and new technologies to promote a productive work environment.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems Install and configure computer systems and applications Maintain and update IT documentation and inventory Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects Train users on software applications and best practices Collaborate with other IT team members on complex problems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role Proficient in Windows and MacOS operating systems Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting Strong understanding of hardware components and peripherals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
CompTIA A+ or similar IT certification Experience in a helpdesk environment Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks Proficiency in remote support tools Knowledge of cloud services and virtualization technologies
