L3 Application Support Engineer (Full Stack Developer)
Job description
The L3 Application Support Engineer/Full Stack Developer is responsible for advanced incident resolution, root cause analysis, and code‑level fixes for production issues escalated beyond L2 scope. This role ensures long‑term stability of applications by implementing patches, hotfixes, and configuration changes, while supporting post‑incident reviews and defect tracking.
Key responsibilities
Code‑Level Incident Resolution – Investigate and resolve production issues requiring software fixes beyond L2 scope. Root Cause Analysis – Diagnose complex application problems and identify underlying defects. Bug Fixes & Patches – Develop, test, and implement code changes, hotfixes, and patches. Change Identification – Determine whether resolution requires code, configuration, or logic modifications. Post‑Incident Support – Contribute to defect tracking, RCA documentation, and post‑incident reviews.
Requirements
Full Stack Development: Strong expertise in Java, Javascript, Angular, React, NodeJS. API Development & Integration: REST APIs, JSON, Postman. Microservices architecture, API Gateway management (APIC, Kong, AWS API Gateway) Secure coding practices, Performance optimization and troubleshooting Database Expertise: SQL Server, Oracle; query optimization and troubleshooting. Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure – CI/CD, monitoring, deployment, and troubleshooting. Monitoring Tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, New Relic. Bug Fixing & Patching: Ability to deliver hotfixes and patches under SLA pressure. Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose multi‑layer issues across application, middleware, and infrastructure.
