SDET Engineer ( QA Engineer) - Healthcare (Facets, EDI, API & Automation)
Job description
Organization : Ascendion (Contract to hire) Work mode : Hybrid Work location – Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai We are seeking an experienced SDET Engineer with strong Healthcare Payer domain expertise and hands-on experience in Facets, EDI transactions, API/Integration testing, SQL, and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for validating healthcare business processes across areas such as Claims, Encounters, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider Management, and Interoperability while driving automation and ensuring high-quality system integrations.
Requirements
Healthcare Domain Strong understanding of Healthcare Payer systems and business processes. Experience supporting one or more areas: Claims & Encounters Member Enrollment & Eligibility Provider Data Management CRM/IVR & Healthcare Interoperability Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Duals/MMP, TRICARE, and Marketplace lines of business. Hands-on experience with Facets modules including: Claims Membership/Enrollment Provider Management Eligibility & Benefits Ability to validate data flow between Facets and downstream systems. EDI & Interoperability Experience with healthcare transactions such as: 834 Enrollment 837 Claims/Encounters (Professional, Institutional, Dental) 270/271 Eligibility 278 Prior Authorization 835 Remittance 820 Premium Payment 277CA, 999, TA1 Acknowledgements Understanding of FHIR R4 and HL7 standards is preferred. API & Integration Testing Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs. Knowledge of middleware/ESB message validation, data transformations, routing, and error handling. Familiarity with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured. Automation & Tools Experience with TOSCA/ playwright/selenium or similar test automation tools. Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent test management tools. Experience with EDI validation tools such as Edifecs is a plus.
