Key responsibilities
Lead the design and development of mainframe applications Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills Make strategic architectural decisions to optimize performance Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements Coordinate project timelines and deliverables with cross-functional teams Implement best practices in software development and deployment
Requirements
5-8 years of experience in mainframe development Deep expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2 Proven leadership experience in managing development teams Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and system design Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement Ability to mentor and guide less experienced developers Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
