Job description
Energetic Junior Software Test Engineer with a can-do attitude, phenomenal time management skills, and a strong team player, user focus with 6 Years of Experience in Apache JMeter, API Postman, Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, Beta Testing, Usability Testing, Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key responsibilities
Provided support in performance testing using JMeter. Provided support in performance testing using API Postman. Understanding the requirements by participating in the requirement walkthrough meetings. Interacted with Business Analyst, Development Lead to obtain clarifications on requirements. Writing test cases and executing the same. Peer Review of test cases prepared by the team and provided review comments. Preparation of Test Execution report, Defect analysis report. Performed different types of testing like smoke, functional, integration, end to end, compatibility, ad-hoc, retesting and regression. Performed cross browser testing on Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera on Windows XP/8/10 OS. Involved in preparation of traceability matrix & final test execution report.
Requirements
6 Years of Professional Experience in Software Testing. Strong knowledge on SDLC, STLC methodologies and Defect Life Cycle. Experience in Management Reporting, Healthcare domain. Proficient in the area of Requirement Analysis, Preparing Test Cases and Bug Tracking. Expertise in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, System Testing, Retesting, Regression Testing, Globalization Testing, Compatibility Testing, Usability Testing and User Acceptance Testing. Experience in writing and executing test cases, Bug Reporting and Reviewing Project Artifacts. Sound Knowledge on Agile Methodology. Capable of handling multiple tasks with changing priorities. Well equipped with excellent communication and organizational skills to face clients. Flexible and versatile to adapt to new environments and working on any project. Well versed in time management and the ability to achieve the given tasks within the allocated time frame. Hands on Experience in basic Security Testing. Good Understanding in Performance Testing. Holding 6th month of experience in Mobile application testing using Postman Tool.
