Software Tester Engineer

Key responsibilities
Design and implement test plans and test cases based on project requirements Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality Identify and document defects, tracking them through resolution Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide testing insights Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases and test results
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 1+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium or JUnit Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for backend testing
Qualifications
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI Familiarity with Agile development practices Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus Experience with version control systems like Git Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
