Test Automation Engineer
Job description
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role is pivotal in enhancing our testing processes and ensuring the delivery of high-performance software.
Key responsibilities
Responsibilities Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, BehaveX, and Python for functional, regression testing Framework Implementation: Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) structures to enhance test script maintainability and reusability. Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Develop and execute BDD scenarios using Cucumber, ensuring clear communication of requirements and test cases. Test Management: Utilize tools like JIRA AIO for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring seamless execution and reporting. Version Control: Utilize Git for source code management, ensuring efficient collaboration and version tracking. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and design effective test cases. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar role. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python. Test Automation Tools: Experience with Selenium and BehaveX. BDD Frameworks: Familiarity with Cucumber. Test Management Tools: Experience with JIRA AIO. Version Control: Proficiency in using Git. CI/CD Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps. Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
