TEST ENGINEER
Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the highest quality of our products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop strategies for testing. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering reliable and efficient software solutions. As a Test Engineer, you will apply your knowledge of software testing methodologies to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that our products meet both functional and non-functional requirements. You will be an integral part of our quality assurance process and will play a key role in enhancing our testing frameworks and automation efforts.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Perform manual and automated testing of software applications Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to the development team Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies Proficiency in writing clear, concise test cases and documenting test results Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
Experience in performance testing and load testing tools Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
