Job description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong Python expertise to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building automation frameworks, testing web applications and APIs, and ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance in healthcare systems.
Key responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python • Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web applications and APIs • Utilize web crawling and scraping packages (e.g., Selenium, Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, Playwright) to automate data validation and testing workflows • Create end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites for healthcare applications • Validate healthcare data workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies • Analyze test results, identify defects, and report findings with clear documentation • Maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation • Continuously improve test coverage, execution speed, and overall framework efficiency • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and ensure testing practices align with compliance requirements
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar Solid understanding of API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP methods) Experience with web scraping or crawling for data validation Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, or FHIR (preferred) Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Good communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
