QA Engineer

Key responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts Perform manual and automated testing of software applications Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback Participate in code reviews and provide insights on testing considerations Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance Proficiency in writing test cases and executing manual tests Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla Strong understanding of web technologies and applications
Qualifications
Experience in performance and load testing Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman Experience with mobile application testing Understanding of database management and SQL queries Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
